My book Musquito: The Real Story of a Legendary Colonial Warrior has been out for six weeks. In that time, I have visited Top Ryde Library. Gleebooks in Glebe, Fullers Bookstore in Hobart, Petrarch’s in Launceston, Liverpool Regional Museum, and the National Centre of Biography in Canberra. The Gleebooks conversation, with Delia Falconer, will be released as a podcast in September. I also received a wonderful review from Professor Kate Fullagar for Inside Story. You can read it here. And I’ve been long listed for the Mark and Evette Moran NIB Literary Award!

Here are some pics from my Hobart trip. It was really good to take the book home, to where Musquito was executed, alongside ‘Black Jack’ Roberts, the first Aboriginal men hanged for murder in Australia.
